Opener Chapbooks are currently processing two flash fiction titles for publication

Opener's Idea: A chapbook by four new writers: two poets and two flash fiction writers. Six poems by each poet. Three stories by each flash fiction writer.


News on the first set of writers Opener will be publishing over the coming months will be appearing on this page very, very shortly - super excited about it and can't wait to share the writers' work with the world.

We've been working with illustrators and visual artists over the summer months to make sure the finished chapbooks look luverly duverly.

For the time being, Opener are not considering submissions for publications so please keep a watchful eye on this page for news on future submissions.

opener chapbooks are looking for an illustrator to volunteer to draw us our symbol.

We have a clear idea of what we would like but haven't got the hands to draw it. (not literally.)

So, opener chapbooks has begun it's scout for brandspanking, shiny new writing brains in poetry and flash fiction.

opener will be publishing two poets and two flash fiction writers over the next six months.

As this is a small operation at present, each chapbook will entail either six poems (for the poets) and three flash fiction, no more than 500 words, for flash.

opener are open to all types of poets and  flash fiction writers.
